420 refers to both the date April 20th and the time 4:20pm. Both the time and date are internationally known as the time/date to blaze!

420 originated in a San Francisco high school in the early 70s. A group of kids, known as the Waldos, would meet at the Louis Pasture statue to blaze at approximately 4:20pm every day. They coined the term 420 because they could use it without the teachers knowing what they meant.

The water of the hookah helps to remove tar from the smoke.
